Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a classic round case, fashionable Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue color dial, and very fine automatic Omega movement.
It measures 34.5mm without the crown - in between the sizes of a mens Rolex Date and Datejust.
Powering it is Omega's very fine thin automatic caliber 711 movement. It has 24 jewels and is adjusted to two positions.
The 700 series has a direct lineage to the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly. It was the last very fine movement series of its kind before Omega began to make budget cuts because of the quartz revolution.
It has all of its original parts down to its crystal and has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.
Its case presents as gorgeous mint with hardly any signs of previous polishing. Its lines are crisp.
Its dial has been meticulously custom refinished in a Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue color - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, its chronometer movement has been serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new aftermarket leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
